Winter Recreation
Trails: Moraine Park Bear Lake Areas |
| Skiing and showshoeing are popular winter activities.
However, be aware that mountain weather can be extreme. Clear, warm conditions
can change to severe snowstorms with strong winds and complete whiteouts within
minutes. If skiing or showshoeing, go prepared to spend the night. The few
extra pounds in your pack may save your life. Check with Park Rangers or at the
Visitor Centers for current conditions. Ten Essentials
